About Anne

Anne Williamson

Hi, I am Anne Williamson, and I’m so glad you stopped by my web site. I’m here to help you find the perfect location for your life in the Blue Ridge mountains.

I am a licensed Realtor in Georgia and Tennessee.

Having  lived in Blue Ridge, Georgia since November of 1999, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.  In my former corporate life I lived in several different major cities. Finding Blue Ridge and leaving behind the corporate world was the best decision of my life.

Before making a permanent move, I used to come up to the north Georgia and East Tennessee mountains for weekends.  On those weekend escapes to the mountains, I would approach a certain curve in the road where the mountains greet you and the stress leaves your shoulders.  It was that feeling that made me realize I needed a change in my life.

At the same time my sister and brother-in-law decided to leave California and move closer to Florida and where our parents live. They decided Blue Ridge, Georgia was great and the three of us bought a small building in historic downtown Blue Ridge. We started an antique shop which later became a clothing and gift shop (made sense since my sister and I both like to buy clothes.) A couple of years later I knew I could help others make the same move that I did, and now I am a full time real estate agent.

10% of all of Anne’s real estate commissions go to the Humane Society of Blue Ridge. You can join Anne in this worthwhile cause when you buy Blue Ridge real estate.

I am very involved in the community and volunteer work.  My most important venture right now is being the President of the Humane Society of Blue Ridge, GA. We are in the process of raising funds for a shelter for dogs and cats. Currently, we use foster homes and boarding facilities. We hope to make a difference in this area with educating children in how to act in responsible manner towards their pets. We are also putting together a spay/neuter program for the area.

My four rescue dogs and I live in our house which is close to town where we can take walks in the evening at the Blue Ridge City Park or one of our other beautiful parks. We also enjoy evening or early morning paddles on nearby Lake Blue Ridge.
